BNB Environmental, PC (BNB) is an environmental consulting firm capable of investigating and delineating a wide variety of contaminants in soil and groundwater, as well as accomplishing creative remediation goals. BNB was founded in 2008 by founder and president, Mr. Brent N. Bergeron 1980-01-01 00.00.06-2who obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology from Central Michigan University in 1987 and his Master of Science (MS) degree in Geology from Vanderbilt University in 1991. Subsequent to working as an environmental geologist in Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky for 11 years, Mr. Bergeron moved to Oregon in 2000 and obtained his license as a Registered Geologist (RG) in 2002; a Licensed Geologist (LG) in Washington in 2004; and a Licensed Hydrogeologist (LHG) in Washington in 2016.

Mr. Bergeron has 27+ years of field and report writing experience in the environmental arena, focusing the last 15 years on petroleum-related matters in Oregon and Washington. His strengths involve the supervision of field crews during the investigation and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs) in soil and groundwater; completion of corrective action plans (CAPs), conceptual site models (CSMs), and hydrogeological reports; underground storage tank (UST) site sampling and risk-based closures; health and safety (H&S) awareness; quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC); interaction with Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) personnel; knowledge of the Oregon Risk-Based Decision Making for the Remediation of Petroleum-Contaminated Sites (RBDM) (Oregon Administrative Rules [OAR] 340-122-0205 through 340-122-0360) regulations and guidance document; knowledge of the Oregon Soil Matrix Cleanup Levels (OAR 340-122-320 through OAR 340-122-360); interaction with the Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) and implementation of the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulations (Chapter 173-340 WAC); completion of Phase I environmental site assessments (ESAs); soil and groundwater sampling (via monitoring well installation) at emergency spill response sites; and the decommissioning of heating oil tanks (HOTs). My environmental experience includes sites impacted with PHCs, chlorinated solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, radionuclides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
